10 AI Tools for Marketers in 2026 (Plus 2 Popular Picks That Shut Down)

Many lists of AI tools for marketers go out of date quickly, and some of their top picks are no longer available. If you rely on an outdated list, you can waste a month setting up a product that has already closed. This guide covers ten AI tools that were still running as of October 19, 2026. For each one, you’ll see what the free plan includes, what paid plans cost, and where the tool falls short. Prices change often, and sources sometimes disagree on small details, so treat every number here as a starting point and confirm it on the official pricing page before you buy.

Two Popular Picks That No Longer Work

Before the list, two tools that still appear in many guides.

Rewind AI was a personal memory app that recorded what appeared on your screen and in your audio, so you could search your past work. Its parent company, Limitless, was acquired by Meta in December 2025, and the Rewind product was discontinued after that. Do not sign up for Rewind expecting it to work.

Clockwise was a calendar assistant that protected focus time and grouped meetings. Salesforce hired its team, and the product shut down on March 27, 2026. Reclaim.ai is one of the calendar-focused alternatives covered in the planning section below.

These two cases are a useful reminder: check the status of any tool on a list before you build a workflow around it.

How We Picked These Ten

We kept a tool only if we could confirm it was still available in September or October 2026, and we checked pricing against more than one source. Where sources disagreed, we give a range and say so. We left out tools we could not confirm as current. The tools fall into four jobs: content and video, meetings and planning, automation and writing, and data.

Content and Video AI Tools for Marketers

1. Descript

Descript is a video and audio editor built around the transcript. You delete a sentence in the text, and the matching part of the recording disappears. Its built-in AI co-editor, Underlord, handles tasks such as removing filler words and cleaning up audio.

The free plan includes 60 media minutes a month, 100 one-time AI credits, and 720p exports with a watermark. The Hobbyist tier is about $16 a month on annual billing, or $24 billed monthly. Creator is about $24 on annual billing ($35 monthly), and Business about $50 ($65 monthly).

Best for: podcasts, interviews, and talking-head marketing videos.

Watch out for: media hours and AI credits are two separate meters. Heavy use of AI features can use up credits faster than you expect.

2. Synthesia

Synthesia creates presenter-style videos from a script, using AI avatars and synthetic voices in many languages. It’s often used for training videos and multilingual announcements.

There is a free Basic plan with a small monthly allowance, roughly ten minutes of standard video according to several sources. Paid plans are reported to start between about $19 and $29 a month, depending on billing and the date you check. The Creator plan is around $89 a month, and Enterprise pricing is custom.

Best for: explainers, internal training, and localized video.

Watch out for: avatars suit explainers better than emotional brand films. Check whether your plan removes the Synthesia logo before you publish anything client-facing.

3. Klap

Klap turns long recordings, such as podcasts or webinars, into short vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. It adds captions and tracks the speaker’s face so the frame stays centered.

You can create one video free without a credit card. Paid plans are listed from about $14 a month on annual billing for the entry tier, with the next two tiers near $39 and $94. Some reviews say the pricing unit recently changed from a fixed number of clips to a monthly allowance of uploaded minutes, so confirm which one you’re buying.

Best for: repurposing one long video into a week of social posts.

Watch out for: the AI chooses which moments to clip. Review each clip before posting, because the highest-scoring moment isn’t always the most useful one for your brand.

4. Photoroom

Photoroom is built for product photos. It removes backgrounds, generates new scenes, and adds shadows, which helps online sellers and ad teams produce consistent listing images.

The free tier has limited exports. Paid plans list Pro at $12.99 a month or $7.50 a month on annual billing, Max at $34.99 or $20.99, and Ultra at $99. Its API is priced separately, per image.

Best for: e-commerce listings and simple ad creatives.

Watch out for: before you use images from a free plan in paid campaigns, read the license terms. Free tiers often restrict commercial use.

Meetings and Planning Tools

5. Read AI

Read AI records meetings and produces summaries, action items, and searchable transcripts. It’s useful for marketers who spend much of the week on client calls.

The free plan includes five meetings a month, each capped at one hour. Pro is $19.75 a month, or $15 billed annually, and removes the meeting limit. Enterprise starts at $29.75 a month, or $22.50 annually, and adds video playback and highlights.

Best for: account managers and marketers who need call notes without taking them by hand.

Watch out for: Read AI joins calls as a bot. Tell participants before recording, and check your company’s policy, since many places require consent. Also check whether your video platform already includes meeting notes before you pay for another tool.

6. Motion

Motion is an AI planner that places your tasks into open slots on your calendar and moves them when new meetings appear. It’s aimed at people whose schedules change every day.

Motion has no permanent free plan. It offers a seven-day trial that asks for a card. Its individual Pro AI plan is listed at $49 a month, or $29 a month on annual billing. Team plans are reported at about $19 to $29 per seat.

Best for: busy professionals with many deadlines and limited time to plan.

Watch out for: Motion moves your tasks around meetings, but it does not move the meetings themselves. It is also expensive for a solo user. If the price is too high, compare it with Reclaim.ai, a calendar-focused alternative. Reclaim is reported to start at a lower price than Motion.

7. Goblin.tools

Goblin.tools is a free collection of small AI tools. The best known is Magic ToDo, which breaks a large task into smaller steps. A “spiciness” slider controls how detailed the breakdown is. Other tools rewrite text in a different tone, estimate how long a task will take, and explain difficult topics.

The site requires no account, and reviewers consistently describe it as free. It was built for people with ADHD and other executive-function challenges, but it’s useful for anyone who stalls on big projects.

Best for: turning a vague project into a first step you can start today.

Watch out for: Goblin.tools has no calendar and no reminders. Copy anything you want to keep into your task manager.

Automation and Writing Tools

8. Zapier

Zapier connects your apps so one event triggers another action. A typical example is a form submission that creates a CRM record and sends a Slack message.

The free plan includes 100 tasks a month and supports two-step Zaps only, with 15-minute polling. The Professional plan starts at about $19.99 a month on annual billing, or $29.99 billed monthly, for 750 tasks. The Team plan is about $69 a month on annual billing.

Best for: small teams that want to connect their forms, CRM, and messaging tools without writing code.

Watch out for: Zapier counts every action step as a task. A five-step automation uses more of your monthly allowance on each run than you might expect. Estimate your monthly volume before you choose a plan.

9. Grammarly

Grammarly checks grammar, clarity, and tone across your browser, email, and documents. It’s a useful final pass for client emails, proposals, and ad copy.

The free plan covers basic checks. Grammarly Pro is about $12 a month when billed annually. The company behind Grammarly renamed itself Superhuman in October 2025, but Grammarly remains the writing product.

Best for: tightening copy before it goes to a client or a public channel.

Watch out for: AI rewrites can flatten your brand voice. Read every suggestion and keep the wording that sounds like you.

Data Tool

[IMAGE 4 — Charts and a spreadsheet on a laptop screen during a data review. Suggested search: “data analytics charts laptop spreadsheet” on Unsplash. Alt text: “Julius AI data analysis for marketing reports”]

10. Julius AI

Julius AI lets you ask questions about spreadsheets or databases in plain English. It produces charts and shows the code behind each result, which helps you check the work. For marketers, it’s useful for questions like which campaign drove the most sign-ups last quarter.

The free plan has a limited monthly allowance. Reviews report paid plans from around $20 a month, with higher tiers at $45 or more. Some sources describe the free allowance as messages per month and others as daily credits, so check the current terms.

Best for: analyzing campaign exports without building formulas by hand.

Watch out for: AI can misread a column, assume the wrong date range, or make a calculation error. Check important numbers against the original file before you present them.

Comparison at a Glance

Tool Main job Free plan Paid from (reported) Main limit
Descript Edit video by editing text 60 media minutes, 100 AI credits About $16 a month (annual) Media hours and AI credits
Synthesia AI presenter videos Basic, small monthly allowance About $19 to $29 a month Credits and logo on lower tiers
Klap Short clips from long videos One free video About $14 a month (annual) Clip or minute allowance
Photoroom Product photo editing Limited exports About $7.50 a month (annual) Exports, AI credits, license terms
Read AI Meeting notes 5 meetings a month About $15 a month (annual) Meeting limit on free plan
Motion AI task scheduling None (7-day trial) About $29 a month (annual) Price for solo users
Goblin.tools Breaking down tasks Full free access Free No calendar or reminders
Zapier Automation 100 tasks a month About $19.99 a month (annual) Task count per action step
Grammarly Writing checks Basic checks About $12 a month (annual) AI rewrites need review
Julius AI Data questions Limited monthly usage About $20 a month Accuracy on complex analysis

Prices come from provider pricing pages and third-party trackers, and some sources disagree. Confirm them on each provider’s website before budgeting.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

[IMAGE 5 — A small marketing team reviewing a checklist on a whiteboard. Suggested search: “team reviewing checklist whiteboard” on Unsplash. Alt text: “Avoiding common mistakes when buying AI tools for marketing”]

Trusting an old list. Two of the most recommended tools, Rewind and Clockwise, are gone. Check each tool’s current status before you buy.

Ignoring the meter. Descript uses media hours and AI credits, Zapier counts tasks, and Klap has changed its unit. A plan with a low sticker price can run out quickly.

Subscribing to everything at once. Start with one tool that solves a specific problem, then add another only when you hit a real limit.

Skipping consent. Meeting bots, AI avatars, and cloned voices can create legal and reputational risk. Tell people when you record, and never clone a voice without permission.

Publishing AI output unchecked. Every tool on this list can produce a wrong number, a misleading caption, or an awkward sentence. Review before anything goes live.

Assuming free means commercial. Many free plans limit commercial use or add watermarks. Read the license before using a free output in a paid campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which AI tool should a small marketing team start with? Start with the tool that solves your biggest bottleneck. If you spend hours on video edits, try Descript or Klap. If you lose track of client call details, try Read AI. Zapier is a good choice when your forms and CRM need to talk to each other.

Are any of these tools completely free? Goblin.tools is free with no account. Descript, Klap, Photoroom, Read AI, Zapier, Grammarly, and Julius AI all have free plans, but each one limits usage in a different way.

What happened to Rewind AI? Meta acquired its parent company, Limitless, in December 2025, and the product was discontinued afterward. Treat it as unavailable for new users.

Why did Clockwise shut down? Salesforce hired the Clockwise team in March 2026, and the standalone calendar app was discontinued on March 27, 2026.

Can I use AI-generated video or images in paid ads? Often, but only on the right plan and under the right license. Check the commercial terms for each tool, and confirm that any avatar, voice, or image you use is allowed for advertising.

The Bottom Line

The best AI tools for marketers in 2026 are the ones that solve a specific job, cost a predictable amount, and still exist when you sign up. Start with one or two tools from this list that match your biggest problem, test their free plans on real work, and upgrade only when a limit blocks you. Recheck prices and product status every few months, because this market changes quickly.
